The Treasure From Beneath the Surface
The appointment with my Osteopath was early Monday afternoon. By then, the ‘stress fracture’ episode had completely evaporated; and even my knee with a smudge of blood still remaining under the LifeWave patch was barely sore. I was curious to see his reaction to my two acute injuries and the amazing recoveries. Furthermore, I was most interested in his feedback on the X-39 patch that was on the left side of my face right in front of the ear. I felt nothing – but I didn’t feel anything from the ‘Icewave’ pain patches that so obviously helped my recovery from banging my knee and most likely had impact on the foot…along with the ice bath and arnica.
His strong confirmation of the what he perceived the patch was doing reconfirmed for me the happenings with the acute injuries – and I laid down on the table for treatment.
February, 1981 was my first appointment with this doctor. Forty-five year later his perception and skill continue to amaze me. This treatment was so on target that I thought he had opened up my head and touched the sharp, vibrating ‘pain’ that was deep inside the left side of my head and throat. As uncomfortable as it was, I had no hesitancy that what was happening would be productive in the long run. My years of experience gives me a knowing on many levels that my body can be in a better place. The intensity of this treatment was surprising however. Barely able to get off the table at 1:45, by 4:00 I’m teaching piano lessons. He reassured me he would work me into his schedule the next day if necessary. That never happened. The next days came and went without me having to say hello again.
My hope was dashed to the ground with the LifeWave pain patch: it did nothing for the ice-pick sharp pain in my face. I continued wearing the Inflammatory “IceWave” patch at night and the X-39 patch during the day. When my next appointment on Monday arrived (January 20), I was a little concerned that the treatment would once again be intense. By this time my main question was, “Do you think the intensity of the last treatment was due to wearing the LifeWave patch?” I knew the answer before I asked the question: “I don’t know.” i was relieved that this treatment proved to be more ‘normal’.
The next day, I was lying in my zero gravity chair; postural change always shifts the sensation – whether it be pain or fluid – in the left side of my throat). I placed the cold laser probe on the left side of my face at the junction of the top of the ear and face on the temporalis muscle. Immediate shimmering deep into this area confirms I’m in the right place. The patch was located on my face more at the bottom of the ear. Suddenly, a spasm races through my palate and a thick glob of mucous drops into my mouth – this is not uncommon after a treatment. However, what happened next was astounding. After the first ‘production, I decided I had better retrieve one of my vials of formalin. Lying back down and resuming my laser treatment, another spasm through the palate produced another ‘glob’ of thick paste. My ENT has seen this happen over the past 28 years since the orthodontic injury. He has had several specimens sent to the lab for analysis, but these were usually the calcifications that the spasm would release, not the thick fluid.
The third throat spasm produced a long, rope-like string of fluid with specks of something interspersed here and there. Grabbing my formalin jar, I quickly opened my mouth against the jar – and out dropped my ‘treasure’ into the preservative! It was shocking. And a question popped immediately into my mind: “could those little specs possibly be bone?” This occurred less than 24 hours after my cranial osteopathic treatment. Did the combination of cranial treatment with the additional vibrational frequency from the X-39 patch provide more vitality for my body to release this rope-like obstruction from ‘wherever’ in the tissue?
Cranial Motion + LifeWave + Laser Light =
THE UNIMAGINABLE
I communicated with my ENT through his portal that I would be bringing a specimen for lab analysis. And I was so very thankful that he had performed a sinus endoscopy at my recent appointment. After returning from Santa Cruz having produced three sizable calcifications from my throat after the ‘400 micron’ splint adjustment, I was hoping that he could see ‘something’ in my throat. That hope never materialized. However, there would be no question in his mind that this ‘stringy rope’ had NOT been residing in my sinus cavity. I had watched the video after the exam as well and had been able to see exactly what he saw – nothing! I also let him know that on February 27, 2024, a specimen biopsy report showed foreign material consistent with vegetative material or a small parasite cyst. Is this a parasite? (my ENT of 28 years retired in August of 2024. I’m dealing with his young replacement who has some inkling of my complex history.)
This was certainly different than calcification debris! I think my doctors are hearing me say ‘there’s something embedded in the tissue of my throat”!
I have had two more confirmations about the effects
of the LifeWave patch on my body:
1) I did not have the patch on when I saw my PT.
He also does a baseline assessment for range of motion – I had none initially.
As he was proceeding to tell me about the spot in my back
where he would start, I said:
“Wait a minute. See if this changes anything.”
I placed the X-39 patch on my face in front of my left ear – my problem area.
Within seconds, I had range of motion.
Moreover, he exclaimed: “Your back straightened up and is now centered.” That was extraordinary news.
However, during the treatment he made a statement
about how tight and rigid my fascia was.
His comment is making me think twice about not doing
the IV Exosome push when I arrive in California.
This is precisely the language used by my California osteopath
and why she recommended an IV Exosome push
– to reduce the rigidity of the fascia.
2) I purposely did the same process with my Jin Shin practitioner.
I had her take my pulses (her initial evaluation)
and then I placed the X-39 patch in precisely the same location as before.
She stated: “I’m not sure how to express what I felt.
Maybe the best word is say ‘more centered’?”
And this echoed the statement of my PT.
I feel nothing other than the patch itself on my skin! On Tuesday, when my “Treasure” appeared, I was hopeful that this would resolve my symptoms.
It has not: the fluid day remains extreme – so extreme that I don’t want to wear the appliance because it amplifies the pressure in my throat.
Does the appliance need a major adjustment? I won’t know for another ten days. I return to California on February 11.
It remains to be seen how a local osteopathic treatment will affect the status quo. This turn of events are challenging – the highs and the lows of progress.
Will the lab results and February bring
A Deeper Understanding?
